The session was delivered by Mr. Viral Porecha, Assistant Professor. The seminar focused on the concept of paralanguage and its crucial role in effective communication, highlighting how tone, pitch, facial expressions, gestures and body language convey unspoken or “hidden” messages beyond words.

The resource person explained how understanding paralanguage can improve interpersonal communication, public speaking, teaching–learning processes, and professional interactions. Real-life examples and interactive discussions helped participants recognize the impact of non-verbal cues in conveying emotions, attitudes, and intentions.
