The Women’s Day Celebration was a significant occasion that saw active participation from both male and female attendees. The theme of the event focused on the critical issues of gender equality and gender sensitization, aiming to raise awareness and promote positive change within the community. An expert session led by Dr. Gautami Chatterjee, a distinguished psychologist and a behavioral expert, provided valuable insights into the actionable steps individuals can take to combat gender-based discrimination and foster sensitivity within their immediate environments. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms Anamika De Amin, Assistant Professor, who expressed gratitude to all those involved in the event. To honor the contributions of the female faculty members, meaningful tokens of appreciation were presented to them as a gesture of recognition.
